The Best Sunglasses For Men: Your Summer 2013 Guide To Which Sunglasses To Buy
When it comes to sunglasses people tend to go one of two ways: Spend big or don’t spend at all. Some people are just naturally prone to losing, breaking, dropping and generally mistreating their sunglasses, and for some they’re a prized accessory—the cherry on top of any outfit.
If you’re wondering which sunglasses to buy this summer, we have a few ideas and tips for you.
The best sunglasses for men can go both ways: you can splurge on slick Gucci aviators or pick up a drugstore pair for less than $10. While some guys might balk at the thought of spending $400 on shades from Cutler and Gross, Persol, or Bottega Venetta, there’s a range of amazing options that fall between designer and drugstore.
Some of my favorite options this season (and always) are timeless styles that never lose their appeal, like aviator sunglasses or wayfarers from contemporary brands like Ray-Ban, Oakley, and Calvin Klein.
For the guy that want’s something a little more on-trend or unique, brands like Shwood and Epokhe make sunglasses within that mid-range price that are created with unusual materials (like reclaimed wood) and come in funky shapes as well.
