FIX BlackBerry Bold 9900 problems YOURSELF!!
sd card not readable.
QUESTIION:
My bb got sick after it got little water and then it responded by vibration after few days sd media dissapper.
After
trying thing like shaking it responded well for few hours it gave all
those necessary doc but now it again dissapper and never get solved.
What is the real problem can any one guide me to solution.
and after you clean it like ZFix suggest, replace the battery

Hi,
When you have a water damaged phone is better to open and clean it. You can use for this operation alcohol. When the phone is powered the water make oxidation. And if you not clean the phone from inside may be in future you will have more problems with it.

got bberry 9900,and is water damage,i cleaned the board inside with each every thinner,i.e alcohol and this and that but not switching on..plz help
SOLUTION:
Cleaning the board is not a 100% guaranteed way to fix water damage. Some times, under certain conditions, the water can cause shorts in the circuitry that cause components to fail. In some cases, it is simple an issue of corrosion on the bard, which can be repaired by cleaning the board, other times you will need a specialist to preform component level repairs. Did you only clean the main board. You may also need to clean some connectors and button pads on the inside of the phone. Corrosion can happen to any art of the phone that could have current running through it. I would go through and look for hard to see areas of corrosion and try to clean those off the see if that helps.
I have a faulty return key that seems to get stuck with the lightest touch. I would like to either remove the key to see what the issue is, or replace the keyboard assembly.
