The advantage one can find over the USB drives with the cables, is the need for the wires is eliminated, and there is also USB 3.0 speed for transferring the files. It would work with any USB on-the-go compatible tablet or smartphone and that device needs to have the MicroUSB connector.
It just needs you to plug the drive to the phone and it starts functioning, as there is no driver or app needed for it. The body gets the protection with the cap on the MicroUSB pin.

This is one of the cheapest and best option for the users who wanted to use a pen drive, both as a storage for computers and also as the OTG option with the compatible devices. It comes with the USB 3.0 connectivity, and the MicroUSB connectivity is with most of the Android devices although the company has listed a range of phones and tablets with which it seems to be working perfectly.
This is the 16GB Hybrid OTG flash drive, and there is 3 Years India Warranty and Two Years International Warranty provided along with it. The pen drive is priced at around Rs. 875 on Flipkart. The Plug and Play is an advantage, as it doesn’t require any software or driver to work with the smartphones. For the time being, you would be getting a free card reader along with the flash drive.
While Verbatim comes with the free card reader for the 16GB drive, the Strontium OTG Nitro 16GB OTG pen drive has a very neat design and a small size to be carried easily, and there is the Black and silver combination for the looks.

For the Android devices, it would work better if they install the SanDisk Memory Zone App for Easily Managing and Backing up content. The pen drive supports the Windows XP, 7, 8, Mac OS X 10.5 and later.
The pen drive is priced at Rs. 1649 and it comes with the 5 year domestic warranty, and of the options available in India, this one from Sandisk looks a bit durable.
